Travel and visa information

Starting from the 1st of January 2015 citizens of most countries of the CIS that are not included in a Custom union (Azerbaijan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan) need a foreign passport (no visa required) to enter the Russian Federation.. Citizens of the EEU countries can use internal passport to travel to Russia.

 

In case you need a Russian entry visa, please fill the form (download here) and send it to sibconf2022@gmail.com along with passport copies (all pages) no later than 20 April 2022.  Based on the information received, we will prepare an official invitation and send it to you via e-mail. This process may take up to 2 month. If you need a visa documents to ready earlier, please send a letter to sibconf2022@gmail.com.

MEDICAL CARE

Please take care of your medical insurance during the conference. We remind you that in order to attend the conference (events with more than 100 participants), you will need a QR-code or a certificate of vaccination, past disease or a PCR test valid for two days. Such rules also apply to some catering establishments (cafes, restaurants, bars).
Also, health insurance from an insurance company that provides an international insurance policy program is required during field trips. Novosibirsk and Gorno-Altaisk cities should be included in your health insurance. Please don’t forget your specific medicine if you could need one during the stay in Novosibirsk or in the course of the field trip.
